me and my friend are both new to this game, we started one and i guess now we are stuck with no income and nothing to do but ending our turn, is there a way to end the game??

Can you harvest anything? That doesn't cost money, and if you have a decent sized chain, might take you through the end of the game.

I looked at the game --- green can harvest
and continue the game ---
remember that when the harvest tokens run out you remove
a harvest token already on the map and reuse it
and then the other player can harvest again from the place
the token was removed from

I suggest you work together to finish the game
and try to avoid a repeat of your current situation
