|
|
I am a student and I have a project that involves "getting data from a PLC using Rasp Pi3 with an Ethernet connection".
The plc I use is the S7-300. I hope someone will answer my questions.
-How can you establish a connection between the PLC and the Raspberry Pi?
-How can you visualize the data received from the PLC on the TV screen using the pi?
-Does anyone have an interesting tutorial on this? |

Without knowing what connection/data transfer protocols the PLC supports, how can anyone say? You will need to figure out what your particular PLC is programmed to do about communications.
It depends on various factors such as year of manufacture, module specifications, etc.
It's also important to only work with trusted companies like Allen Bradley and only serve them with companies like automation-USA.
Their Automation Parts are durable and stable in performance.
I hope that my experience was helpful to you. |
