I've reached a point in one of my games where a move was going to take me to $267 dollars, however I was only given enough to take me to $255. I assume this is due to a maximum in the coding? Is there anything I can do or do I need to replan my spending?

I remember a point in our planning that went something like this:

"Do you think we can use a max 255 on the pesos?"

"Yeah no one will ever get that much money."

"I agree."

Darned users always prove us wrong. Let me talk to Myke and see what we think is the best way to handle this. It would increase the db size a fair amount to move that maximum up.

It's in a variant 1 game, where i have a 11 strong sheep herd and a 4 land base for the multiplier.

I've rejigged my spending for this turn, so that I stopped at $250, and am unlikely to add to the herd again, so it may not prove a problem in this game.

I think the number of times this is going to happen is so small as not to warrant the change. Perhaps a note in the rules that says the max amount of cash that can be held is 255 for online gaming would 'fix' the problem more easily.
Kanga - why haven't you spent it ? Surely that money is worth more in haciendas and water than it is in cash ?

Placing 1 sheep was earning me 44 and 48 gold on my last two turns. I've already hacienda'd my main landmass and herd, and am putting down 1 water a turn. Plus I think I was concerned about being cut off...

Sounds like selling sheep at the market stuffed with cocaine condoms if you were getting that much for them.

"Extraordinary" is a good word...
Much like the Reef game where they filled up the entire board.
