Fortunately, as Happy Prole says, we can choose which way we'd like to play. That way, you can play games with people who want to count worker movement manually. Meanwhile, I can play games with people who don't want to count worker movement manually. Thus, we never have to play the game with each other, and life goes on.

Wait till an auction version is released. Then the userbase will be split 4 ways into 4 separate camps.
Namely:
1) original
2) original with end to end movement
3) auction
4) auction with end to end movement

The each camp can come up with their own flag, currency and religion.

Generally a bad idea to flaunt that fact on the internet, the local authorities may end up knocking on your door. Wink

end to end movement is a great help in my opinion. it speeds the game and yes it does help me play better, which prepares me for better face to face games. Coach

when a Tikal game is started --- check the end-to-end worker
movement option
this option allows a player to move a worker or leader multiple
hexes with only one click

Sorry if this has already been suggested (didn't have time to read through all 3 pages of replies Smile)

The end-to-end movement certainly speeds up the play!

However it's still a 2-step process if one wants to place a new worker (or their leader) on the board to somewhere other than a camp. Ie. 1st they have to bring it to camp, then they have to move it.

It should be simple enough to consider adding a new worker to camp simply a movement from an off board location, as if a players camps are all adjacent to this off board location with 1 stone (movement cost) to each of them.

Jeff

I like that suggestion, Jeff. I think it will probably get done, I just don't know how soon.
