One of my friends has just tried to log in, and been told she is inactive / non existent. Clicking on her profile also gets this message. There is no reason that we are aware of for this to occur, she has been playing regularly and has no abandoned games due to her.

Can we please fix this so she can keep playing?

The problem has been resolved; apparently she had changed her email address for the account which then required her to reauthorise the account.

I also have a friend who is having this problem. His account is bwtcf and he changed his email address and it said that his account had been set to inactive until he confirmed the change in the email that had been sent to him, but it's 4 hours later and he has not yet received an email at either his old address or the one he changed it to.

this email is on behalf of bwtcf. He has not received the reactivate your account email but is receiving emails saying it's your new turn to his *new* account.
please can you email bjc@stevensons.co.nz with the appropriate email to reactivate his account.

[color=darkred] Just wanted to thank the original post on this problem as I was trying to figure out WHO to e-mail for help, I read and realized that if you change your e-mail address, as I did, you indeed need to go and Re-Activate with that new address.

Yes, but kanga, had you already received an email? My friend bwtcf's problem is that he never received the email asking him to reactivate his account, so he is stuck. He can't log in, and he can't reactivate his account...
someone please help this desperate fellow as he has people impatiently awaiting his turn in several games.

Sorry for the delay with this. Neither Ryan nor I have phpBB site admin privileges, so we couldn't fix this the 'proper' way.

I believe I've activated bwtcf's account. Anyone else still having issues?

I am having the same problem. I changed my email and responded to the message that was sent. I still can't login. My main account is named Adversarian. I have a bunch of games going, please let me back in. Smile

I tried saying I forgot my password. It sent the email to my new account. I used the new password but no luck. Anything else I can try?

When I looked at it last night everything looked correct. I don't know if anyone fixed it or if there was just some lag in it getting reactivated.
