I see it in your played games but for some reason it doesn't show up in my completed games. Weird. |

I think round 1 has just finished....
I think the top 6 (with 2 or more wins) to contest the two player phase which i'll confirm later with the draw details which provisionally are:
Pos 1 vs Pos 6 (Twit vs Almondralf)
Pos 2 vs Pos 5 (Andyp vs Early_10)
Pos 3 vs Pos 4 (Faticus vs IBX)
(winners to contest a 3 player final)
I will probably do a 3-player plate with the top two only to contest the plate final in a two player game |

All,
here i think is the final results, top six are as suggested above, for the top 6 I have decided that the lower ranked qualifier pick's 2 games (i.e. map & variant with the higher ranked player setting up the third game of their choosing) - i.e. best of three, winners to contest the 3-player final...
the players who didnt make it will contest a 3-player plate play-off (each with 6 games) with the top two qualifying for a two player best of three final (again with the person qualifying 2nd setting up two of the final games)
I will post the plate play-off draw shortly
player Wins 2nds 3rds 4ths Total Played
Total_Twit 4 1 5
andyp 3 1 1 5
faticus 3 1 1 5
IBX 2 2 1 5
Early_10 2 1 1 1 5
almondralf 2 2 1 5
tphon 1 2 2 5
inferno 1 2 2 5
brennus 1 2 1 1 5
swok 1 1 2 1 5
klingone 3 2 5
yakheh 2 2 1 5
StanislavTikal 1 1 3 5
lindalait 1 1 3 5
dobinator 1 4 5
borisumi 3 2 5 |

When you say "lower ranked" I get confused. Is 3rd lower than 4th or vice versa? |

i mean that the players who finshed 4,5 & 6th create 2 of the three games, players 1, 2 & 3 create the other game, I see I'm the only one to create 1 game so far |

I fail to see the logic in having the player that finished with a worse record getting the 2-1 game advantage, but ok. |

Running a tourney is a thankless task, yet many players benefit from them. So first, I'd like to thank twit again for doing an excellent job on the past 3 (?) he's recently run.
In future tournaments, IBX may have a point. Picking a map potentially has a big advantage if you made the map and nobody else has played it yet. This would be reduced by limiting the maps to those played in the first round of the tourney (or some other well-known map set).
Also, trivial advantages are often awarded to the higher seeds in athletic tournaments (e.g. home court advantage, by-week, etc).
With that said, I think the current scheme is acceptable for this tournament. |

My opponent, IBX, has picked a map that he created where there are 2 markets within 1 space of each other. Will I get points and pesos for both if I play 1 animal tile that touches both? |

You need to touch them separately, I think. |
