So jealous of Linda right now. Why couldn't I be #8?

ok, so I think we have 15 players,

I will therefore run round one as a 4 player stage with the top 6 qualifying for stage 2 which will be a 2-palyer knockout (based on placing... 6 vs 1, 5 vs 2, 3 vs 4) which will leave a normal 3 player final....

for the remaining 9 players who finish 7th-15th we'll do a plate tournament - well have a three player tournament next (each person with 4 matches (everyone plays everyone else).... and the top two will contest a best of three 2 player final.

Will do the draw a little later when I have picked maps & varients

good luck, any questions or is that clear?

all, here's the draw finally

top 6 qualify for the rd2 and the two player section with the final being a std 3-player

of the remaining 10 i might see if i can do a 4-player plate with top 4 qualifying for the plate final.

just for clarity, when setting up/joining the games please add password - "tournament" and add the other's players names in the comment section separated by commas,

good luck!

Are we still looking to replace Koinski? I looked at his(/her) profile and noticed that he hasn't taken a turn since August 2010? If so this is extremely odd because he posted comment in February of this year...

http://www.spielbyweb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=26571#26571

Is it possible he isn't aware the tournament has started? Note his email is posted on his profile.

However, I have reservations about Koinski or any else joining this late into the tournament. A late entry would have an advantage because he can view recent performance of current players on the tournament maps.

How are we going to resolve this?

I really don't consider the ability to look at current games and players' strategies much of an advantage: I'd rather have somebody sub for koinski and get those games going - just my humble opinion.......

we do need a replacement, I have tried to get in touch with Koinski without success, i am working on finding a replacement because I dont think there is any other alternative ways of continuing otherwise,

will consult with kanga who might be able to give some words of wisdom

I admit the late entry advantage is probably minimal. I'm okay with whatever total_twit decides.
