Gamesonthebrain tried this a few years ago, but the matches took too long and needs to be self-running if the organiser gets dumped out early Embarassed

I'm going to start another one but learn from the problems before. It will be Variant 1 games only, and I will choose maps so that they are unlikely to end up a mass scramble for land.

I also will ask competitors to update the draw topic when they win and to create the game for the next round as soon as they win (or join the game if already created). I will publish the maps and the game names for all rounds at the beginning so that it can run as quick as people play the games. That way I should not have to look for results, and nobody should have to wait for me to publish a draw.

Sign-up here if interested - its deathmatch - 1 game in each round, winner progresses and the loser is out. First 16 definitely in, 32 if I can get them. I'd like the tournament to run fairly quickly, please try and make at least 1 turn/day and no immediate large periods of unavailability planned (that means I'll have to play quicker than of late Embarassed
