Please don't let Zippy ruin it for the four non-obnoxious people playing that game. No hurry. We're perfectly happy to keep mocking Worm while we wait. |

I would also like to see the Werewolf stuff stop. I've noticed a considerable slowing down of the site over the last week or so, and now I see why. Hundreds of people hitting the forums all day might slow my games down a bit.
These are forums for tech support issues and general enhancement of this awesome site. The werewolf game is basically spam. Do you plug up BGG's forum with this? What about Yahoo Games? If not, why do it here, on a site that recently needed to upgrade because we were already overwhelming it w/ bandwidth? What does werewolf have to do with any of the games played on this site?
Leave milkshiek alone. He busts his ass here for no pay (and will not even accept donations that some have offered) and you hassle him for asking you to stop abusing his forums? Give me a break. |

10 people have found this site to play some fun games at, increasing exposure for the place and giving more opportunities to fill games...
i didn't read anything in the tos regarding a ww game in the forums being illegal..

That was his exact point about this slowing up a site dedicated specifically to other types of games. You may be increasing exposure and drawing more WW players, which could slow down the site significantly for those of us who come here for the games that are actually designed for the site.
There was nothing banning ww games in the forums, but now there is. Nobody has been half as rude about any of this as you have. It was a reasonable request from a person that goes above and beyond just to put this site on the map. He deserves at least a bit of respect from everyone here, you included.
It may be that ww finds a place here, and I'd welcome it if it did. But being as obnoxious as you are is a solid way to get ww ignored and banned permanently. You do a disservice to your fellow gamers by such rudeness.
Here's to a more friendly debate in the future. _________________ I'm a mother pheasant plucker. I pluck mother pheasants. I'm the most pleasant mother pheasant plucker that ever plucked mother pheasants. |

putting the "site on the map" and "slowing down the site" are contradictory..
it is fairly obvious that this place doesn't want exposure to the games, you just want a place for the select few to come and play...
you either want people to come here or you don't...lets not try to play both sides...
there has been more activity in the last 3 days than in the last year for this place and all it has done is caused a bunch of whiny tools to wonder why the site is a little slower...
i'm sure all 10 of us had something to do with that...:oldschoolrolleyes: |

A few things:
1. I'm pretty sure the Werewolf game here had almost nothing to do with slowing the site down.
2. Because of how milksheikh has the forums set up, the werewolf games were an unexpected flood to his inbox. He asked that they be suspended and offered the possibility of hosting a more structured way of playing them. That seems more than reasonable.
3. Starting a werewolf game on a breastfeeding forum with the forum's regulars is quite possibly the funniest, coolest thing I've seen this week. Or second coolest. That dancing Racoon avatar over there has to get top honors. |

Did someone piss in your corn flakes this morning, or are you always this unpleasant?
The "more activity" you refer to consisted primarily of 8-10 people flooding the messages boards with WW messages. Big hairy deal. That doesn't count as a massive upsurge in membership and attention, and I don't think it is likely to "put this site on the map." Certainly not more than having great board game implementations and word of mouth on BGG and other gaming sites.
Also, your "select few" comment is pretty funny. I've never seen anybody excluded from playing here. In fact, the WW group came in and acted much more like a "select few" clique than anybody else on the site. For instance, when I said that I didn't know what WW was, I was told "watch and learn." Very inviting. Very open and friendly.
Also open and friendly? You telling milksheikh to fix YOUR stuck game instead of, what was it -- "monitoring the message boards or jerking off"? And acting like you did him some great favor by invading his message boards with your troupe of WW players.
Actually, I think I know the answer to my first question. |

i didn't think i was unpleasant...
your best option here is to just let it go...
the site has 10 new players to the regular games, you are welcome btw, and the ww games are no longer....no problem..
the stuck game isn't mine, although i'm a participant...it has been stuck for a week, and a msg posted in the forums...but no response what so evah...
if milkshake dude had enuff precious time to ban ww, then maybe he could post something in the game problem thread...
but no, he doesn't really give a rats rear end about his games, only about the msg board activity...
i'm cool with that...
but don't be a f'n hypocrit.. |

I wouldn't call you unpleasant...........more like a rude, self centered asshole who seems to think he did us a huge favor by signing up to play free games.
What does anyone around here owe you? Milkshiek offers a free site to play awesome games at. If you don't like the way it's run take a hike. We where getting by quite fine before you came along and will continue to do so long after you take your playground bully act somewhere else. |
