I've set up a new game - wallaceone pt.2 and notified jeffersdn. He has yet to join the new game, but should shortly. I've set a message to the Administrator to delte wallaceone.

Yours,
pjh5000

I've been having some EMAIL issues with auto messages treated as Spam, and I think am out of another Wally tourney as a result, but this one looks like I got a Bye in round 1, which has not yet completed.

Please let me know if I'm still in for Round 2.

Lotsa

Me and pjh5000 are one a piece.

I believe the last game is about to be set-up by my opponent.

Just waiting on NoMoreCheese v Lord Morng to finish. Then we can start the Last 16.

Currently NMC leads 29-18 & 29-20 in games 1 & 2 but LM seems to have the edge in game 3 (Autumn year 1)

A quick update on the last 16.

OCGMark v NoMoreCheese

3 games in play and at the half OCG leads in all 3, however all 3 are salvageable for NMC. The scores not really reflecting the fact that these two looked so evenly matched going in.

The Friendly Golfer v BSpittles 1-1

2 games finished, honours even. BSpittles led 3 of the 5 games at the halfway stage but TFG has been relentless in year 2 & fully expects to turn it around

LeoLegende v JamesParauda

3 games in play, James leads 2-1 at the end of year 1 & a surprise is on the cards. Leo was a hot favourite for this matchup when the draw was made, however he is going to have to draw on all his experience and win percentage to pull this one out of the fire

blahblah v andyp

blahblah hasn't been around for a month or so now. If he fails to show by the time the other 7 ties have ended then andy will advance in a walkover

BeAfraid v Yahkeh

3 games in play, at the province setup stage. BA expected to win handsomely here despite Yahkeh's extra experience.

Jeffersdn v Alm the Viking

Games now set up waiting on ATV to join - same rules as blahblah (if both fail to join by the time the other games have finished they will be knocked out.

Mean v Bruce.S 0-2

Mean started the tournament as the favourite to win the whole shebang. Finding himself 2-0 down in a best of 5 series was definitely not on his agenda & he will have to dig deep to pull this back

Lotsablots v JimK

2 games have got to the halfway point and just 1 point seperates the 2 protagonists at this stage. Jim's lack of experience counting for nothing as he has the 1 point advantage - hard to tell which of these two has played 400+ games and which has played less than a dozen

That was an impressive update, and very enjoyable to find at 1am after coming in from a night out.

Yeah, great update, nicely done.
And I'm glad to say that my experience did pay of and I was able to win all three games, close as it might have been. Very Happy

A quick update on the last 16.

OCGMark v NoMoreCheese 3-0

3 comfortable victories for OCG see's him march into the QF's with ease

The Friendly Golfer v BSpittles 4-1

TFG reverses 2 year one deficits to storm through 4-1 on aggregate

LeoLegende v JamesParauda 3-0

James will have to be disappointed with his year 2 performances against Leo. Ultimately closer than the Legende would've liked winning by a single point in game one and on Churches in game 3

blahblah v andyp

blahblah hasn't been around for a month or so now. If he fails to show by the time the other 7 ties have ended then andy will advance in a walkover

BeAfraid v Yahkeh 1-0

BeAfraid takes the early advantage with the first win. Two other games have reached halfway

Jeffersdn v Alm the Viking

5 games at the province set up stage

Mean v Bruce.S 1-2

Mean was able to reverse the scores in game 3 forcing the tie into a 4th rubber. Bruce.S continues his fine year 1 form (led at halfway in all 4 matches) but with just 1 point in it, this one should go to the wire & could yet go to a 5th set.

Lotsablots v JimK 2-0

Lotsa seems to have lulled Jim into a false sense of security blitzing him in year 2 in games 1 & 2. Can Jim break the mould in game 3 where once again he has a one point lead

Congratulations to the final 8, Quarter Finals are the best of 7 - first named player to set up the games & pm the password to their opponent. I would suggest playing 3 games simultaneously to start and then one at a time (adds a little pressure and tension to the games)
