Season 6 has ended, so it's time to get Season 7 up and running.

Format: The participants will be split into 8-player leagues with everyone playing each other once (i.e. seven rounds). If the number of players doesn't fit evenly, I'll attempt to balance the divisions so that people don't have more than one bye round.

Each round consists of three games on the same map, one no variant, one variant 1, one variant 2.

Continuing On: Players who are staying on will be ranked based on Season 6 results. New players probably start at the bottom. Players who played in previous seasons may be able to return in the division they last played if the numbers work right; otherwise, I'll fit you in where I can.

Signing Up: All are welcome, as long as you make your moves at least daily. Short periods of away time are not a problem, but please inform your opponent of any extended absence. If in any round your three games aren't finished after two weeks, I'll assign a winner or a mutual forfeit as appropriate to the cause of the delay.

My next post will be the current list of players. Please comment below if your status is unknown or wrong or if you'd like to be added to the tournament.

Maps: I will accept nominations for maps from anybody. Post here or send me a message. If I don't receive enough nominations, or if I think the maps nominated wouldn't work well for two players/all variants, I will pick them on my own.

Here's my current list of players. Most are from Season 6, and the status of most is unknown. A plus or minus next to your league indicates whether you were bumped up or down based on winning or losing your league last season. Obviously, the league standing will change based on how many players are in for Season 7.

The 2 week rule looks harsh. I know most of the maps encouraged buying all the land tiles last season, but only about half of my games finished in 2 weeks (or is that because I'm slow?).

OK, I'm open to a three-week limit. We'll see how it goes. If a game is progressing, I'm unlikely to want to decide it by fiat.
