Wouldn’t Thanksgiving be much more fun with a great Grand Slam Tikal tournament going on!! You can still enjoy your turkey and your nice wine but at the same time make some crazy TIKAL moves against people around the world!!

Following the advice of the last poll I suggest a standard round with 4x2player and 3x3pl and 2x4pl games.

That means ever player has 9 games in the standard round.

The top four players out of the standard round will go into a final round.

The standard round will be divided into two chapters – during the first chapter there will be 2x2pl, 1x3pl, and 1x4pl game. The second chapter will be 2x2pl, 2x3pl, and 1x4pl game.

For winning a 2 player game you will get 3 points, for a 3 player game you get 4 points and for winning a 4 player game you get 6 points - that means in each category (2,3 and 4 player) you can get 12 points - all together that makes a maximum of 36 points if you win all 9 games!!

For a second place in a 3 player game you would still earn 2 points and in a 4 player game 3 points and for 3rd place 1 point.

A final would be played by the top four players the same way it was played during the first GS tournament!

In case of a draw during the first round the eliminators are in this order: most wins/ better result during 4 player game / better result of 3 player game / more points out of the 9 games.

The draw eliminator for the final would be the direct result out of the 2 player game!

It would be nice to get 24 players!!

This tournament will take some time so even if you are not around for a couple of days or so – please join if you like Tikal!
