27 players signed up
top 9 go into semi finals

I'm a bit tired of choosing maps, so for this tournament I have simply pasted in the top 54 maps on my rating list.

As for variants, the reward for creating the games is you get to choose the variants. Everyone has 6 games, and if you are creating all 6, ideally you should choose to have a least one of each type of variant (eg v0, v1, v2, v12), but I'll leave that up to you.

I was just awful here. Sometimes I have to remind myself I'm often playing against people who have played hundreds of games of this and I've played maybe 20.

Deliberately choosing V2 against my toughest opponents and getting to match the map to the variants has obviously been beneficial to me this tourney. I will support future ones like this. Laughing

Early, marcx, Rebel and myself will make it. tom would be unlucky with 3 wins and a small margin to miss out. It doesn't look like too many more will win 4 games.

In stark contrast to the last 3 player tournament when 3.5 wins was needed to make the final 9, at least one player is likely to make it with 2 wins this time round.

Unfortunately the other still has at least 6 rounds left so could be quite a while at this pace.
