Last round in open season I sacrificed -3, everyone else sacrified more, but I'm second in the bidding this round, shouldn't I be last?
Thanks

Rules say that highest bidder becomes new start player, and the others follow according to original turn order.
Actually, I think the rule was written in this way because it would have been too fiddly in face to face games to change all the turn order, while changing only the start player the turn order is always in sync with seating order, which is more natural. In my opinion here it would be better to rearrange all the turn order according to the sacrifice offers.
By the way, the same issue comes up in El Grande, where lowest Power Card determines the new start player, but the original turn order is conserved. This doesn't seem right, and it's probably done only for convenience in face to face games. |
