Yes. I renominate Antike. (Can I third my own nomination? Very Happy) Having now played it a second time, I think it is a phenomenal game, and I think it would work well in the SbW environment (though games would take some time, even for fast players).

I have looooooooooooooots of suggestions for games on SBW.

But first I wanted to ask, what are the legal implications of writing a game for SBW?

Do you need permission? Are they licensed?

We seek permission from the designer and publisher on games that will be developed.

Can I sugest Graenaland? It's an advanced settlers game by Vladimir Chvatil (Through the Ages). It have interesting features like cooperative/competitive play, voting and simple straightforward negociation. I think voting and message-type negociation could open a new dimension to online games (since players will need to talk to play!)

I'll third Antike. Great game!

Maybe even allow players to pick a move or two ahead, since many times, you just want to produce some goods.

I've played several games of Antike, and it's becoming a little boring. Technology race practically decides the game, because the points you get from technologies are drastically cheaper than any other scoring methods in the game.

Agreed. I loved Antike when it came out. Played it half a dozen times and its now a little boring. It now sits on my bookshelf. Imperial is much much better, and that can be played on BSW.

SHOGUN (i never played this variant for Wallenstein, implementation probably easy)

MEDITERRANEE (i think this is perfect for SpielByWeb: long game, but not so many turns at the end, very strategic, rich turns)

HIMALAYA (quicker game)

EL GRANDE !!! (an old Spiel des Jahres without version on the web!!!)
