| I thought I was doing well in division A, until I ended my season by getting swept by Early-10, Rebelslayer, AND t_o_m9. Ouch. |

I think games will be running for at least 3 or 4 more weeks. Several players are lagging behind the pack, but I guess in a field of 40 that's unavoidable.

a closer look at the different leagues:
League D: A great finish has seen kxw, wildfire and wildscrpio finish equal on 6 wins, with kxw's superior games won / lost ratio giving her the top place in a thrilling finish. Congrats karen!
League C: this league has been dominated by rorshaq, with an astonishing 16 /2 win loss ration in his 7 finished match. Only marginally less impressive is worcesterarlo, who has lost just one match. rorshaq and worcesterarlo meet in Round 9. rorshaq's win / loss ratio means that if he beats LuvHighTide in his other game, even a loss to worcesterarlo wont stop him finishing on top of League C.
However the other wildcard factor in League C is LuvHighTide, who seems to have lost her regular access to SBW and has 5 unfinished matches, none of which are particularly close to finishing. It is possible I may have to remove her from the League if her games look like dragging on weeks after everyone else has finished. The most notable result of doing this would be negating worcesterarlo's only loss, and meaning the R9 match between rorshaq and worcesterarlo WOULD decide top place.
League B: Dominiated by Djura, 16 wins and 2 losses in 6 matches, and her 7th match against smlait looks like being a walkover to Djura as well. However goforit has only lost one match, and is engaged in a close battle with Djura in their R8 match. Looks like the winner of League B will come from these two.
League A: Rebelslayer and I meet in the last round. If I win, I will finish a game clear on top of League A. However if I lose 2-1, then I would finish 3rd, with koinski taking the top spot on win /loss ratio from Rebelslayer (20 wins to 19)
If Rebelslayer beats me 3-0, he and koinski both end up on 20 wins. koinski would claim top spot again in that situation by virtue of his victory over Rebelslayer in Round 1. So it looks like I should appeal to Rebelslayer to put nation ahead of individual gain and to let me win  |

The next league signups will start shortly, however I'll want to wait until the current League is pretty much completely finished before starting it.
Current state:
League A: 6 games left to finish, including 2 more where one player leads 2-0.
Of these, my game against Rebelslayer is yet to start but we'll knock it over in a few days. TMJJS v Early is just reaching the halfway mark. The others are nearly done.
League B: 6 games left to finish. Unfortunately most of these are not very close to finishing yet.
League C: Apart from the above mentioned problems from LuvHighTide, this league is nearly done. However Luv's games will be going for a long time. She's contacted me and will try to play faster but life has proven too hectic for her and her SBW time is limited. I may have to exclude her games from the final standings, or alternatively, start the next season based on a guess at the results here.
League D is completely complete
I dont think we'll bother with finals in the individual Leagues, it'll just add on more time to the later finishing leagues with no real benefit.
I'll post the updated standings next. |

There's clearly something wrong with this, since you have me done with 8 sets, but only 21 actual games.
League A R1 (vs Kanga) 1-2
League A R2 (vs TMJJS) 2-1
League A R3 (vs koinski) 2-1
League A R4 (vs cpsof95) 2-1
League A R5 (vs Early_10) 0-3
League A R6 (vs Rebelslayer) 0-3

So that puts me at 4-4 overall, 9-15.

Thank you Kanga for your patience and to all other players that I have held up this summer.  I truly am sorry for my lack of play, Kanga, feel free to eliminate me from the League as my time has gone away from me with life's circumstances.

ok, I've removed Luv from League C, and recalculated the table.
All the games are now finished, apart from the last game in the SunLion v nmichalek game, which nmichalek is going to win so I've included that here.
rorshaq completed an amazing performance by defeating worcesterarlo 3-0 in their last match. Only two players managed to take a game from rorshaq in the 8 matches! worceresterarlo's performance was almost as good, with his only other loss being against LuvHighTide, and therefore removed from the final table.
League B still has a few games to go. Djura's games are rapidly drawing to a close but goforit v still is a long way from finished.
League C final standings:

The Rebelslayer v Kanga match has finished.
Unfortunately the map probably wasn't ideal for a high quality game, and all 3 games ended up with land buyouts. Despite a 12 point deficit in the V1 game, my better land draws allowed me to win that one and the V2 game, leaving Rebelslayer the consolation prize in the last game to finish.
So the final standings for the top 4 in League A are:

the last few games are nearing completion.
