The rules of Santiago team play
You will be team mates with 8 people, In the draw CAPITAL LETTERS vs lowercase letters
The lower score of the teammates will be the teams score.
The final will be the top 4 players based on wins(if there is a tie then points in losses will be the tiebreaker.
The final will be best of 3- all the players will be partners with another person. The final will be decided by most wins -If theres a tie in final, then the tiebreaker will be the same as in the 1st round(difference in points in losses) -final will be lowest of the teammates just like the 1st rd.
you can communicate with your partner in this tournament!

any feedback on this tournament
I think its been alot of fun and the strategy is interesting
The one thing, I thought of was one teammate "dumping all their cash in the last couple of rounds in help them. giving 2,3 gold is good strategy, but dumping all of your gold to your partner in round 10 or 11 seem to be in the spirit of the tournament
please give feedback on this

I'm enjoying this so far. You can definitely get a good rhythm of one partner being the canal observer and one the highest bidder. If I played again I think when the other team was doing this to us I'd hike the bidding quite a bit to try to break their rhythm, or at least drain their pesos.
