Nice try nuno, but I did mention that alpha order would be used to split ties at this stage (clearly not when it comes to the final table) so I have to let that chap whose name begins with G stay at the top Smile

Good result to finish ahead of efreeman, the winner of the previous 5 player tourney. Of the previous finalists, I note Kanga is making a late run, but not sure if it will be enough!

Very lucky though. Won by a single piece of gold and only because he missed his card.

On the other hand I'm having some trouble with flaviorj. The draw game me very stiff competition. =(

Why do I feel the level of play is a lot higher in these tourneys than in regular games?

My win ratio was below 10% before the tournies, but has been close to 40% in these now, because they seem to go much faster than regular games, and I pay more attention rather than quickly clicking...

I'm guessing even three wins might not be enough to guarantee your through.... tough crowd....
Maybe you could increase the proportion of players going through to the next round on the next tournaments.
I'm feeling pretty confident that I'll go through, but it feels like a little bad luck in one or two games is enough to eliminate a great player here. And I know I was quite lucky on one of the games I won.

I've got to admit that there's been a fair share of luck pushing me in the right direction. =)
I sure hope my s€x life doesn't suffer (we have a saying in Portugal that good luck in gaming is bad luck in loving).
