Djura won the last T4 game. Final standings:

almondralf 4 3 34
Djura 4 3 43
brianlcarr 4 2 16
lindalait 4 2 16
alice 4 1 10
striking_cobra 4 1 67
praisechick 4 0 81
Payton3434 4 0 89
Freyja 4 0 98

brianlcarr and lindalait were tied in the standings. In the game they played together, brian won the game by a single point from linda, which qualifies him for the final by the barest of margins.

Current standings on T3

Rebelslayer 3 3 0
smlait 4 2 5
kxw 3 2 18
gische 2 1 35
worcesterarlo 3 0 26.5
nishikawa 1 0 31
Alashar 2 0 48
shampoon 3 0 60
tammykins 3 0 80

Rebel is in a very good position in his last game. Finalists will need 2 wins plus a low winning margin, so smlait should make it, leaving one spot up for grabs..

No end in sight, nishikawa's games have a long way to go yet.

I think it was the T5 tournament - and I created the final games.

Is there any chance we could play a final of T2-T5 ???
Maybe the winners of T2-T5 and one lucky second could play two 3 player semi finals and after that a final round to find the real 3 player champion??

The last game in tournament 3 has just finished.

And what a thriller it was...! With the last place in the final riding on the finish, the final score saw just 1 point separate the 3 players. Winner, on countback by gold, was kxw, edging out gische, who tied on points but had less $$. nishikawa was only 1 point behind in 3rd.

So the final placings are:

Rebelslayer 4 4 0
kxw 4 3 18
smlait 4 2 5
gische 4 2 35.5
worcesterarlo 4 1 26.5
nishikawa 4 0 52
Alashar 4 0 82
tammykins 4 0 101
shampoon 4 0 113

congrats to Rebelslayer for winning his 4 games, will that form continue into the final?

They were tight matches. Koinski and I were 1 pt apart in the first (after he and tom lead me by 12 pts in the first round), 3 points apart in the second and I won the third by (7) more than I lost the other 2 combined! Shocked

Fantastic games!

Tournament 2 final:
Var 1 game
Kanga 183
Ahauwi 179
flaviorj 154

very close game but ahauwi looked to have it won, but actually failed to score on the last move, allowing me to jump past him with my last move of the game.

No variant game
Kanga 253
ahauwi1 244
flaviorj 225

Another very close game, ahauwi again leading with half a dozen or so rounds to go, however I got the better of the end game land buy out to pull away in the last 3 rounds.

Variant 2 game
Kanga 177
ahauwi1 171
flaviorj 154

Once again better scoring in the end game saw me pull away from ahauwi in the last few rounds!

Despite the 3-0 victory I remember thinking a few days ago that it was quite possible ahauwi might win all 3, but luck fell my way in each game.

Thanks for some interesting games!
