We started with 5 players, but before even the first turn someone quit (or somehow we got down to 4 players). What's the best thing to do? Can we reopen it so a new 5th can join? Or can it be reset so that there are only 4 provinces up for auction instead of the 5?

By the way - this is my first game on SpielByWeb - so apologies if I'm using the wrong terminology...

Thanks,

Raphael

Never seen this happen before, and haven't played with the amun-re code really, but I think I can fix it. Just give me a few minutes. I will post here when it is safe to play.

I think it is fixed. Looks like someone joined and unjoined almost instantly, game was halfway through creation when they got out.

I was able to buy resources and that worked. Once I completed my purchases, a SQL error popped up and it has everyone highlighted as if it was their turn.

I will see if I can sort it out, it may be beyond repair due to that creation error. I will see if I can see why it caused a problem.

Well let's try that. See if that solves it.

This game is completely wrong. One player has been able to buy 6 farmers (21 gold), 3 bricks (6 gold), a province for 1 gold, and still sacrifice 7 gold! By my count, that's 35 gold from an initial allotment of 20! Another player has been able to spend 26.

I've created a substitute called "A dry wind 2", but we will probably then need some way to kill this one.

See the message board for the original game for details on how to join.

One of the players would still like to fix this game. If there is a way to do that, or alternately, to kill it if that isn't possible, that would be great.

Thanks,

Raphael

I have reset the game, so all should be well from this point on. Sorry for the trouble...
