Nice to learn a bit more about the people i play a lot of games with as an addicted Hacienda player.

My name is Marc (without the X) and i live in a very small village in the north of the netherlands together with a girlfriend, two dogs and two cats. My working hours i spend as a bussines-analist for a governement department.

My name is Jason and I'm a serious Hacienda addict.

1) I designed both the Hacienda Microbadges on BGG.

2) I've played 260 games of Hacienda this year so far, and I expect to finish at least 5 more.
3) I've designed dozens of maps and still have urges to make more now and then.
4) I even created a geeklist to catalog some of the maps.
5) I've printed maps out to play in person and I still wish someone would publish more.

I'm a retired school principal, born in southern Netherlands, but taught/administered in Canada for 33 years - retired 8 years ago to golf, play with my grandkids, tinker with HO trains, models, woodworking,....
My games record is rather poor, but I'm going to work more on my strategy. Very Happy

My name is Raelene, WAHM to 3 boys and a 52 yr old man with downs syndrome. I stop by sbw about every hour during the day while I'm working. I usually play about 25 games at a time with at least 5 of those having frequent turns (Renee lies when she says she only takes 3-5 turns a day Laughing

Nice to learn a bit about all of you

I am Jane, married to Kanga, and we live in Victoria Australia with our 2 gorgeous preschool girls and elderly blue heeler cross dog. We are both doctors somehow juggling extra training with family time, work, and of course lots of games (especially Kanga!)

Since my wife is not much of a gamer, I also "assumed" many players to be male. Surprised

I want to thank everyone who has checked in here. It is fun know a little bit more about the people I game with regularly... even if it isn't F2F.

I don't often get to play IRL as jrspc (hubby) does that with a regular group and getting a babysitter for 6 hours of games every two weeks seems over the top. Smile
