Well, something crazy happened. That was the first time I've ever beat Flaviorj even once. That was a really crazy map with bizzare land draws.
t_o_m9 (3-0) vs ooivalf
Game 1 V0 t_o_m9 181 ooivalf 142
Game 2 V1 t_o_m9 195 ooivalf 175
Game 3 V2 t_o_m9 176 ooivalf 161
Good games and very fast |

Definitely a crazy map!
As expected, Rebelslayer won 3-0
Original: 301-278
Variant 1: 213-177
Variant 2: 184-180
Rebelslayer took an early lead points/money-wise in the Variant 1 game from which I never recovered. The Original game was relatively even up until the last quarter where I found that he'd placed his land much better for accruing water tiles. I took an early lead in Variant 2 (though not as much as it looked as he had several chains of 2 land tiles, space, 2 land tiles), but he pulled ahead over the last half dozen rounds. |

Congrats to Rebel and tom for making it through to the semi finals. My games with Alashar are progressing slowly but steadily, and I think Djura and gische are at a similar stage. I think the most likely semi final draw at this stage is tom v Kanga, and Rebel v gische. However I wouldn't rule out a victory to Alashar or Djura yet.
I have no certain plans for the map for the semi final or final. Any suggestions for more good 2 player maps? |

pull a report of which maps RebelSlayer has most frequently lost on and pick that one.
Or create a new map that no one has played before.
Or go old school back to the dogbones

Thanks for the games smlait! Apart from the V1 game, they felt tight up until the end. In fact the V2 you may have won if you hadn't tried that water block!
As for a semi's map ... I like tom's idea in reverse ... pick the map I have won the most 2p at! |

101 is a good small map (I have only played 1 2p on it but I can't see any advantage to either player).
63 is a good medium map. |
