At the moment, the database that drives SpielByWeb is operating on our new server. I have begun to point www.spielbyweb.com to the new server, so over the next 24-48 hours or so the migration should complete. I am hopeful that this will be a seamless transition...

Nice server: Tikal is so much faster than before! I guess everything is, but in Tikal the improvement is really a godsend, now the meeples hop along the jungle at great speed Smile.

So far I'm not seeing this speed increase. After clicking on a guy, it takes 5 seconds or so before the page updates with the highlighted hexes. And I have a very fast internet connection.

Thank you very much!
Tikal is a very good choice for a PBW implemention, in fact I 'm considering to play this title only on the web from now on... Obviously I have bought this game long time ago and enjoyed the face to face play, but without analisys paralisys issue the game will "run more smooth".

Is it me or has this site just become really slow tonight? It is taking forever for all of my pages to load. Are others having this problem?

It's extremely slow for me too. something between 30 and 60 seconds response time for each click... Hopefully it is a temporary side-effect of the move.

I'm noticing that as well -- not just game play, navigating the site and the forums is quite slow right now.
