I want to undo my turn and choose a tile that is not the volcano. When I undo, it takes me back to the point after I selected the volcano. How do I select a different tile?

It may not be possible. If I remember correctly we had it setup such that you could undo after you had placed the tile -- but with the volcano when you choose it the next phase isn't placing but taking your actions. Probably an oversight on our part.
