The core concept is remarkably straightforward: a lone, pixelated Tyrannosaurus Rex traverses a barren desert landscape. Obstacles appear in the form of cacti and flying Pterodactyls. Your goal? To avoid them for as long as possible.
The control scheme is equally minimal. The spacebar (or the up arrow key on some devices) initiates the jump. A tap sends the dinosaur soaring over cacti, while holding it down results in a higher jump, useful for clearing those pesky airborne reptiles. Once the game hits higher speeds, the down arrow key becomes your friend, allowing the dinosaur to duck under the Pterodactyls. This seemingly simple mechanic opens up a surprising layer of strategic gameplay. |
