GAME 9864 - Horsemeat Pie

Game scored the Water tile I placed incorrectly. I did a redo turn several times to replicate it and no matter where I placed the water tile I would personally score the points not matter whose color tile I place the water next to. This might just be a problem with this Variant on the scoring because I don't recall seeing it in the normal scoring games.

I'm embarrassed to admit that this scenario was completely overlooked; on top of that it was never caught during any of our beta tests (and several games used this variant). Perhaps this scenario never came up?

In any case, I've got a fix that seems to work. Once I get it tested I'll update the game.

Do the scores from this particular game need to be corrected? It didn't look like that would've changed the outcome.

Another bug I guarantee you can replicate with variant 2 is

forest A, rock B, mountain C (for example all connected land areas)

forest A is already has blue land chain on it previous turn.

If blue has a land chain on mountain C and then same turn places land chain on rock B only scores 1 point instead of 6 points.

I was able to do it in this game but redid my turn and put in it correct order but he's the error it produced

I redid my turn and laid them with 2nd land touching the first and it gave me the correct 6 points

I've verified this bug. Once again this was working correctly earlier and I probably broke it while fixing something else.

One other "bonus" bug you found, a typo in the gamelog: the game log text incorrectly states that you received 1 point when in fact you received 2. Still the incorrect amount, but "less incorrect."

I do now have a fix for this as well as for the duplicate keys issue that is closely associated with it. We'll test these thorougly and hopefully have them up as soon as we're confident they haven't broken anything else.
