The rankings page does not appear to be including new players of Santiago. Only those involved in the beta testing are currently listed. Please correct this to include all users.

not all games are showing in the rankings
per my profile I have 847 completed games
per the rankings list it is 844 completed games
I know others also have this problem also

My profile currently shows 329 games completed with 77 wins. The rankings page shows 282 games completed with 73 wins. A difference of 47 games.

The way the game stats were recorded changed slightly a little while ago. Obviously something about it isn't working quite right. We'll get is straightened out.

My stats are off too. My profile says 67 wins/164 games. The rankings list 58 wins/136 games. All of my Hacienda/Tikal/Reef Encounter games are accounted for (the ones I play the most = 57 wins/132 gamesl; the other 4 games listed are old Hoity Toity).

All of my attempts at Amun Re, Bus and Santiago are missing. Is the algorithm somehow limiting each player to a certain number of games?

YES -- the rankings list needs a fix ---
if you look at the Santiago stats
phil has the most wins -- 6 and most games -- 14
if you go to the profile of mrbass and check his Santiago stats
he has 22 wins and 40 completed games

I don't know how much work it would be to fix the problem
but I think it would be less work to fix it now not later

also --- this site has had a lot of positive growth over the past year
due to the work of the people running the site, the addition of new games
and the the site's good reputation Very Happy

the rankings list bug is Negative Marketing and not good for the
reputation of SpielByWeb

Ok, I found what was causing the error and I have a fix, but I'll need a little more time to handle recording the backlog of unrecorded games. Should be done very soon.

Ok. Fixed. The problem before only affected players who finished their first game of any particular type (Amun Re, Wallentstein, Hacienda etc.) AFTER the rankings changes that were made a couple months ago. That's why it was most noticeable with Santiago: only a few players had previous plays with it. Any new players to the site would not have seen anything on the rankings page at all.

Why doesn't that surprise me?

Number 1 in Santiago
Number 1 in Amun Re
Number 2 in Hacienda (95% win ratio!!)
Number 2 in Wallenstein
Number 4 in Tikal

No fudging of stats either, played against a range of opponents and only rarely 2 player.
