I use Calibre in my laptop and sync the entire library via DS Cloud on my Synology NAS and with my mobile devices (Android smartphone and tablet). Therefore, I always have all the books stored in the NAS cloud and synchronized with all my devices.
To read my books and make annotations, I use ezPDFReader (I mainly use PDF formats). However, it is quite difficult to find and select books from mobile devices.
So I thought about using CC. With CC, I can connect to the library and view all the metadata of my books. CC, however, does not recognize that the files are already available locally, and asks me to download the books.
Is there a way for CC to recognize the local presence of the library and open the book from there without downloading it? |

I used to have calibre too and I think CC is better. |

Really Informative. I remember when I had the same issue, it was horrible; I wish I saw this before. I have old software, and errors kept on popping all the time. At first, I tried to fix the issue myself, but I could not do anything about it. I watched tons of YouTube videos and still could not understand what is going on; I guess it is just too complicated for me. Anyways, I decided to change my cloud, and I found an excellent website https://sydneycloudit.com.au/support on the internet, and they were able to fix my software. They provided me with the highest quality of support, and my software operates perfectly since then. I can easily say that they are the best it support Sydney has. |
