Soon I will begin the conversion of a short bus "Chevrolet Thomas" 2007 release. I plan to do most of the work myself (with the help of family/friends), but would like to hire an electrician. The system will rely mainly on solar energy; it will also be charged while driving and will be able to use onshore energy.

From my research, I got a basic idea of how much energy I would use, as well as the necessary details. I also have diagrams of where everything will go on the bus. I'd like to hire an electrician to run everything.

What is the best way to find an electrician? I would like to pay someone a fair price for their work...but I don't have a huge budget, so I would rather work directly with an individual rather than a company. Will any standard licensed electrician understand this project? Or should I look for someone specifically with RV/conversion experience? Any personal recommendations or tips on where to find a qualified professional?

In fact, it is very important to approach this issue responsibly, as it is very dangerous. Consult an electrician.

At first glance, this does not seem to be a problem, since there are a lot of ads and they are everywhere. But later you realize that this is not easy at all, since you do not know where a good specialist is and where not.The fact is that without certain knowledge, it is difficult to establish the level of work done. If in other types of workers, you can immediately detect a flaw in the work, then everything is completely different here. So we reached out to a friend who recently came across the right call for an electrician. He advised us https://gordonpowers.com.au/suburb/electrician-lane-cove/ and I think that we will definitely use their , especially according to the reviews they have very good staff.
