I am new and would like to join a game, but it would appear I need a password. Would anyone with a game waiting to start care to send me one. I seems like I might not get anyone joining me if I were to create my one public one now.

If you create your own non-password game, it will get joined very quickly !
Non-passworded games get snapped up, which is why you don't see many around.
If you're new to Wallenstein itself, may I suggest avoiding the 'advanced setup'.
As an aside, if you do set up a game, it's worth putting in your expected turn rate in the comment field (e.g. 'several turns a day' or '2-3 turns per week'). It sometimes dissuades slow players from joining fast games (but not always).
