i have good news as we approach our July 4th Independence Day holiday here in the States ~ all the Tikal heads up tournament 2nd round games have concluded except for #13, which is in round 11. hopefully Stanislav and jvick will be able to pick up the pace a bit and finish that contest before the end of the month (Saturday). once again thanks to everyone for keeping up excellent playing speed

i'll post the 2nd round results as soon as game #13 finishes. in the meantime here are the 3rd round match ups so we can get those games created and started as soon as possible. this is the last round where we will meet new opponents. in rounds 4 through 6 we will play all the opponents we played before but in the opposite format.

each game this round is STANDARD format, end-to-end worker movement. as before the password is headsup. please type the names of the players in the comment section of each game you create.

we should be able to move the action along fairly quickly in these STANDARD style games. i realize we are heading into prime vacation time in both the U.S. and Europe. if you will be away and unable to take daily turns, please put up the suitcase as a courtesy to the other players.

for myself, i have family vacation time scheduled from June 28th through July 1st, then again from July 4th through July 8th, but i expect i'll be able to make at least one move a day during those stretches while my family is alseep

there have been some great games so far and i expect more to come. let's keep having fun with it this summer
