Only six games left to complete, and two of them are in Year Two revolts so will be over shortly. And judging by the state of a few of the games, it's looking to get a little tight for the top four spots.

Down to one game remaining, three people in for sure and one spot to be determined.

In blue are the players in for sure, 2 wins being enough in this tourney to move on: myself, klingone and HighwayStar.

For the final spot (players in red), Yahkeh has to take first outright to make the final game. Any other result and Defdamesdompi is in on tie-break* of 'total points out of first'.

*For consistency, I used the same tie-break as used in the previous two tourneys. It's not perfect, but neither is it completely silly. That said, I'm glad to entertain ideas for an improved tie-breaking method. A few ideas which instantly come to my mind:
- Total points scored (either in wins or in all four games), which is flawed in the same way as points-out-of-first, which is that different games flow differently and score different points
- Total Palaces built (again, possible wins vs all games), which neatly mirrors the game's rules, but still has same flaw as mentioned

Honestly, unless an obviously niffty idea is presented or a compelling argument is given for existing choice, I'd be inclined to stick with the current tie-break as it's both fairly clear and very easy to calculate.

I just realized that I forgot to post the final for this Third Tournament. Which is a shame because it was an excellent, close played affair. With only three points separating first from last after the First Year, both HoghwayStar and Defdamesdompi scored 30 points in the Second, which unfortunately for Defdamesdompi was not enough to overcome the single point by which he was behind. Winner was HighwayStar - thanks all, excellent game.

54 - HighwayStar
53 - Defdamesdompi
47 - klingone
42 - NoMoreCheese
