I'm already in, but just wanted to point out that's 30 people in less than 14 hours, would you reach 64 if you let it open a few -days-, lol?!

Wow, that filled up quickly.

Due to the nature of the tournament, we need 32 players since there's little chance of getting 64. Unfortunately, that means the last 3 players to sign-up won't be able to participate this time around. I suspect though, that I'll be organizing tournaments like this more often in the future, so the 3 of you will have first opportunity to join.

I'll post the first round games later this weekend.

Looking at some of the comments recently, I think some people are struggling with too many tourney games - this format is good in that you only get 1 game (at a time).

The bad news is that it has to be 16, 32 or 64 players. One improvement may be a preliminary round (so if you had 35, there would be 3 preliminary matches) - the proviso being that the prelims are over quickly (say only play to the first scoring round for qualifying for round 1).

Thanks for arranging and I'm sure there will be demand for more!!
