I just got a new copy of Wallenstein (in German) and will be experimenting with it over the next few days Rolling Eyes

I am looking to join a game but don't want to cause too much irritation to the other players due to my lack of 'experience' Embarassed

Any suggestions as to which of the available games I should join or is someone going to set-up one in the not too distant future.

Please be gentle with me.

My recommendation is to jump in and just start playing. That's how I did it. However, keep in mind that in the PBW world a much bigger irritation than new players is inactive players. If you join a game, commit to it. Check in frequently, make your plans and moves quickly and generally don't hold up the rest of the players.

Have fun!

Okay I'll try that, although there seem to be few games without passwords.

Yeah, that's kind of a pain. Your best bet is to start a game yourself. You'll get takers. The downside is, you don't know if they are slow or unreliable players until you get into the game and it stalls for a week or more. But the upside is, if you keep trying, you'll find a game that actually goes. (I've got six going now, only one of which I started. A couple of them are "on hiatus," but the others are moving at a reasonable pace.)

Yes I managed to find a game that started that night Surprised

I may be in at the deep end though as two of the players are in the top 10, methinks this may be very ugly.

I will start a new game as well and hopefully find enough reliable players to complete some games.

Thanks for the advice.
