Sign up here for a 4 or 5 player version of this variant. I will decide whether it is 4 or 5 player when I see how many entrants there are - 25 needed for 5 player.

The aim is the same as in the 3 player tournament currently underway. That is to score as close as possible to 25 points without going over.

However, I will be tweaking the scoring a bit.

1) Exactly 8 points after round 3. 5 points
2) Exactly 25 points after round 6. 10 points
3) Exactly 24 points after round 6. 6 points
4) Less than 24 points after round 6. 3 points
5) An additional 6 points to be shared among those who score exactly 25 points, if any.
6) Score for over 25 - Nil (but it may help your overall SBW percentage!)

These changes are to address issues with the 3 player tournament, in particular where the score has been the same for 3 players scoring exactly 25, as for 3 players going bust.
1) is to give an aim in the early rounds.
5) is to give an additional incentive to stopping your opponents from getting 25.

Finally, on a different point, rseulow has asked me to automatically include him in all my Amun Re tournaments. If anyone else wishes me to do that please pm me - but be careful, you may end up in a wierd variant!
