Michael Jordan dominated when he was active. Who has the most dominate record on SBW.

Hacienda - Kanga' s 65% win percent with 220 wins? Other's have more wins but lower win percentage, and some have higher win % but either fewer wins, or the majority of their wins against 1 person.

Amun-Re - FlaviorJ's 53% win percent with 593 wins!! That's 260 more than 2nd place. He proves this game is "solved".

Tikal - Sparrowhawks 73% win percent with an even 100 wins.

Reef Encounter - Glasse - 78% win percent with min 50 games played

While he may not have won as many games, you can't talk about Amun Re domination without mentioning efreeman, who has won nearly many the Amun Re tournaments held on this site, and finished 2nd in the few he hasn't won. Some of these tournaments had most of the top players in this site playing, and yet he keeps on winning them...

The other comment I have is can someone please tell me why I win Hacienda so often? I dont quite understand what it is that I do that makes me hard to beat.

Kanga ... you concentrate more than most and think more strategically than tactically. You probably keep track of what your opponent has in their hand and what their strategic aim is as well more than most do. You also adjust your style more for a different starting hand, different map, and different start by your opponent than most.

If only I could get some more sleep I might have the energy to try and do the same!

This is what I find puzzling, with the exception of some 2 player games, I almost totally ignore what everyone else is doing, because I can't be bothered.

It was interesting looking at how popular some of these games are based on games played.
This shows 1 - most games played (1st) 2- 20th games played 3- 50th games played

Amun Re * 1st - 1130 games * 20th - 244 games * 50th - 140 games
Bus * 1st - 90 games * 20th - 19 games * 50th - 11 games
hacienda * 1st - 1041 games * 20th - 260 games * 50th - 138 games
Hoity Toity * 1st - 191 games * 20th - 46 games * 50th - 29 games
Reef Encounter * 1st - 311 games * 20th - 86 games * 50th - 53 games
Santiago * 1st - 224 games * 20th - 50 games * 50th - 31 games
Tikal * 1st - 621 games * 20th - 116 games * 50th - 68 games
Wallenstein * 1st - 301 games * 20th - 79 games * 50th - 46 games

So, clearly Amun-Re and Hacienda have the most people playing the games. It doesn't make it more competitive per say, but it could make it statistically harder to have a high win % than the others since there are so many people playing.

I think that it was Amun-Re - FlaviorJ.
